Atrius Health gatekeeps referrals to drive repeat visits. I was seen in March for a mucocele by PA Anh Hong, who couldn't reach a diagnosis. A month later, with the issue unresolved, I reached back out and asked for a referral to a specialist. I had Covid in December and was quite sick. I was treated and diagnosed by multiple nurse practitioners.Unfortunately , the way health care is changing is partially to blame....but I repeatedly asked to be contacted by my Doctor.
