I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Proctitis from Dr. Ruskin, but I began to feel uncomfortable seeing him because he did rectal exams at every visit even for a well visit. I felt all these rectal exams was unnecessary and after seeing a new doctor I spoke with them about it and they confirmed my suspicion and said its only done if it's really necessary. In being with my new doctor the only time they performed a rectal exam was during a colonoscopy procedure. I'm glad I made the change.
I would not recommend this Doctor. I have had nothing but trouble since my surgery and he is not willing to work with you, his office manager is nasty mean. Good luck if you choose him.
