I am a happy client of Dr. Armstrong. My children and I have used him as our dentist for years. He is very caring and professional in his approach to dentistry. He knows his trade. I have personally gotten implants there and am happy with my results. His location is convenient, and Dr. and staff are friendly..
I went to this dentist a couple of years ago. Absolutely nothing good to say about him except that he had a very nice receptionist. It started off bad right out of the gates as I was filling out my new patient paperwork (including asking for SS#) he was having his computer repaired. The technician was amazed there was no virus protection installed and at the sheer number if viruses and trojans they found. Dr. Armstrong is rude and unprofessional, I had fillings done and had some of the material came loose the next day and fell out. I scheduled a visit to ensure that all was well and he accused my concern as "absurd". He is condescending with his non verbals and overtly arrogant when he does speak. I had to explain to him multiple times that I am not a dentist and am just curious. DO NOT SEE HIM if you value being treated with respect. I am amazed that he is in business.
Dr. Armstrong is not a high brow dentist. He's down to earth and good at what he does. He's very practical and doesn't play games to get you to do more work or make himself appear more important. The main thing is that I really trust Dr. Armstrong and feel I get very good individual attention from him.
I had extensive work to be done. Dr. Armstrong was very thorough as he performed each procedure. I thought my implants and veneers would be more expensive and time consuming. So I was pleasantly surprised with his speed and efficiency and the price was very reasonable. Also, since I am very sensitive to pain, I was worried that I would suffer during all this work. Charged me $150 on top of dental cleaning costs for "Advice."
I was very disappointed in the lack of professionalism shown by Dr. Armstrong as well as suggestions that he made that my teeth would fall out within a year. It has been several years since I last saw him and my teeth are perfesctly fine. He wanted me to get braces (which he does himself) and a gum graft (which he also does) I think that he pads his diagnosis to make more money.
