Seeing Dr. Clark has been a wonderful experience for me. He was kind and patient and really listened to what I was saying. I have seen him for over two years now and I really feel much more confident and self-accepting. This was a commitment that worked out very well for me; it really made a difference in my life. In the past, other therapists had not seemed to hear or really care about what I was saying. It was a great relief to finally be understood.
A few words of caution here. Dr. Clark is very perceptive and intelligent. However, his confidence in his abilities to definitively assess a very dynamic situation in 1 hour is terrifying. If you take everything he says to heart, you may find yourself feeling very hopeless. Not an ideal therapist for someone who's really soul searching and trying to grow as a person. If you want a 60 minute dehumanized textbook style psycho-analysis, he may be just what you're looking for.
