Played Dutch at legacy courses this weekend. We showed up to our tee time early. The clubhouse staff said they are ahead of schedule, and that a group of 16 was itching to get out behind us. There was already a group of 12 in front of us with 3 open tee times. As we made our way out to the starter, and had multiple staff telling us to hurry up and get out there condescendingly. Be ready to golf with strangers, spend more time in the cart than on the greens, and settle for concession stand food at the turn. We were forced to pair up with strangers in a 5-some, and even noticed several 6-somes on the course. The Legacy Courses, once a fun and challenging experience, seem to have lost their charm post-renovation. Unfortunately, the redesign feels like a missed opportunity. The Lehman course Is quite expensive relative to comparable courses in the area. And the tee boxes were not in the best shape when we played (As I suspected they recently had an event). But the most irksome thing Was the fact that there carts had ads with audio between holes. I know this is probably petty, but when you pay $200 per round, It seems as though they should have made enough to sacrifice northern woods audio integrity.
