In February 2026, I took my car to Craftsman Auto Repair in Merrifield for a state inspection on a Saturday, as my regular car repair shop, does not open on weekends. Craftsman Auto Repair failed my state inspection, claiming that the rear brake pads did not contact the rotors and requiring costly replacements. LIKE NO OTHER! My first time with this shop was out of this world. First, they patched up a tire that in another auto shop (that I am "member" of) was labeled as unrepairable. The other shop not only refused to patch up the tire but also 'recommended' a new set of tires. It was $50 vs. $1200. Brought my car in for service today. I really appreciate the level of communication and transparency that I get at Craftsman, including the inspection report with detailed notes and pictures. Beyond that, everyone is very friendly and willing to answer questions. Brennan, in particular, really took the time to address any concerns and even provided advice on how to best maintain a new car that I purchased recently. I highly recommend Craftsman Merrifield!
