The Ale House is very nice; it is half bar half dining. The dining area is nice, the waiters are nice, but then there’s the food. It is too complex for an ale house and it is not very good. Their salad has huge lettuce leaves (making it very difficult to eat), a slice of carrot, and only two salad dressings. Mixed bag Mixed bag...some stellar moments...and then, well not so much. The first time I visited I ordered the pork sandwich (with extra au jus). I'm a sucker for this au jus...it's so delicious I could drink it from a coffee cup. Awesome brew pub CAH is the best place around to try a great variation of craft beer styles! The owners are friendly and the food is really good. The menu does not change much though, but they now offer pizza at the bar which was really delicious. Events are happening all the time here and there are bands and live music as well. PROs: awesome beer selections, great prices, great food, nice clean upscale atmosphere! CONs: smaller establishment, can get very crowded fast on weekends and meal times.
This brew pub has potential. Food is good, fries excellent. Great everchanging selection of beer, but that's the only alcohol. If you're a wine drinker going out with beer drinkers you'll have to bring your own. There are unfortunately too many rules and they do not waver. We were a party of six on one occasion and were told that there was a one and a half hour time limit for the table because we had 6 people. We thought it rather rude that we were told this. Craft Ale House Food was delicious and the beer selection was amazing including many you won't find elsewhere. It was a little fancier than we thought it would be, the previous reviewer who said it has a "relaxed, mature atmosphere" was right on. We brought the kids but next time we'll leave them with the sitter. They have an unpublished kids menu. The live Celtic music the night we went was great and unobstrusive.
Craft Ale House is Perfect for the Beer Connoisseur Relaxed, mature atmosphere. Endless craft beer selection, many on tap but most in bottles. Great service, food is delicious and inexpensive. I recommend the pork sandwich!
Craft Ale House The Craft Ale House had a great selection of beers. A great place to go after work and unwind with a group of friends. Not a wide variety of food, but good food!
