I like Cracker Barrel restaurant in Matteson, it was nice and clean. The people that worked there was nice and friendly. Food was very good and hot and they gave you a lot. Their prices was great! Please come back to stay.

Let me start by saying I love this chain. However this particular restaurant was horrible. Eggs were under cooked bacon was over cooked. Pecan pancakes are my favorite but they were raw and bitter. Almost threw up and the waitress simply asked if I would like them to go. I paid my bill and left disgusted and disappointed.
By far the worst crocker barrel I been to. I ordered the catfish stripes with corn and mash potatoes. The food wasn't hot barely lukewarm, the corn was unsweetened and the mashed potatoes was dry and tasteless. The biscuits were not fresh and reheated. It was just a true disappointment, my and mine will never step foot in there again.
