GREAT SEAFOOD!! This restaurant sits off of the water, and has nice decor and really good service. The food is fresh and tastes great. It is a little more costly, but so worth the money. The portions are generous, and they also offer great dessert.

Fabulous Nothing Else Comes close There is no place else like it. Every time I am in the area, I always stop at The Crab Trap at least to grab a couple of Clams Casino orders, which is my favorite item on the menu.The atmosphere is upscale boating motif, and plants. My Personal Favorite The Crab Trap is one of my favorite restaurants. The seafood is absolutely amazing and I would, honestly, recommend anything on the menu; it is all delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and it is nestled right on the bay. In the summer there is usually a pretty long wait for a table, especially on weekends, but it is totally worth it.
I eat at the Crab Trap for special occasions, and a lot in the summer. There food is usually very good. My last visit was disappointing due to tough roast beef which had to be sent back. But, my two guests were delighted with their selection. However, our bright spot was our server, Cassie! She is a delight, and nothing we asked for was any trouble. I will be back in the near future, and will order the baked flounder, which is always a winner. But, to make our meal more enjoyable, I will ask to have Cassie as our server!
Best Birthday Dinner year after year – Every July for the past 20 years I make it a point to celebrate my birthday here. Even though the wait is long(and well worth it) you can sit back and relax at Crabby Jack's Bar off the bay. Once you get inside the service is always quick and friendly. Double up on the clam's casino and crab cakes. These are the absolute best anywhere. Make a special trip trust me you'll be back.

Seafood done to perfection. – We've always had fantastic food and service here. We come here 5 or 6 times a year. Be prepared to wait for at least 30 minutes on the weekend in the winter and two hours in the summer. IMHO its not worth the wait in the summer time.
