It's a peaceful area. The only thing is you charge 3$per person to keep it clean. It should be clean for the most part. Too much bird poop. But love the area.
Not public- must pay to get to it through a campground. It is not a quick stop to get wet. Highly disappointing.
Just a heads up. Its not free the cost is 3 dollars. That being said its a mice beach camground. Heavily policed so your kids will be safe.
2025 the price went up to $3 per person. I am 50 years old and as far back as I've been coming here it was always $2 for a day pass. Now it cost our family of 5, $15 to swim in goose poop infested waters and mush it into our toes on the beach. Use all that money you make this year to clean up that poopy beach, children play there.
