Was his patient for 5 years then he charged me double as a new patient with no assessment- 2 minute consultation.
Dr Yap provided exceptional care for me when I had an appendicitis emergency (I saw him shortly after my appendix had burst). His expertise ensured a smooth and successful surgery. His professionalism, attention to detail, and compassionate approach throughout was excellent. Highly recommended.
Unfortunately this surgeon may be the top at his profession, but when it comes to patient communications, his arrogance does not allow him to understand the patients point of view. After a week in Cabrini hospital l was not updated on any tests he ordered. He was high handed and dismissive, with an appalling beside manner. In order to gain access to any information about my tests, l had to specifically request that the results go to my GP, otherwise l woukd know very little about my condition.
