I stayed here because of the price on my trip across the country. There was not a crazy fee for my dogs. So grateful for that. It was completely renovated. It was clean. Like actually pretty clean for a hotel. The owner was super nice, friendly, and kind. I had my two dogs with me and he put me in a room near a side door exit. So thankful for that. Just up the way from the highway, rooms are decent, hot tub was broken like every hotel, breakfast was standard hotel fare. Nothing special here.

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Even though it’s undergoing renovations, (and they have lots more to do) the lobby and breakfast area were immaculate and welcoming. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a jacuzzi room without being asked. Our room was spacious and clean. We didn’t use the pool but it looked very nice. What a wonderful surprise this hotel was! Not far from Route 80 but so quiet. Our room, 107, was close to the door which was great because we have medical equipment to bring in. The check in process was easy and the price was phenomenal. We were on our way to visit family in Colorado so having a relaxing, safe experience during a time when tornadoes and thunderstorms were pelting Iowa was fantastic.
