First visit and really pleased with the experience. The service stood out. Attentive, friendly and on top of refills the whole time. The food was delicious and the portions were surprisingly generous, plenty for two with leftovers to take home. Great neighborhood spot!
Service was friendly but slow. We have eaten at other Cozumel locations but today was our first time at this one. I got the chicken flautas and chicken tostada and my husband had chicken tacos. ZERO seasoning on any of our chicken. Blandest meal I’ve ever had at a Mexican restaurant. Hope it was a newbie cook mistake.
I'm rarely a one and done. Went for my wife's birthday because she loves Mexican food. One specialty margarita, 17.00 and so sweet the two of us couldn't finish it, one draft beer, a chimichunga and super burrito for 70.00 before tip. My apologies to Jose and family at El Mexicano, you've been serving great food and drinks for a fair price for 20 years. We won't stray again.
