Bouncers lack training in every single aspect of their job. A group of 35+ (ALL over the age of 25) were denied access into the bar as they claimed we were “under age”. We are visiting from out of town for a wedding, (imagine being a 30 year old bride being told you and your wedding party are using fake IDs the day before your wedding????). Unfortunately, our experience at Coyote Ugly in Destin was very disappointing. Our bachelor/bachelorette group was denied entry by the bouncer before he even took the time to check everyone's IDs. We were told we couldn't enter because we were from out of state, which felt unfair and unprofessional. We understand that businesses have the right to enforce policies and ensure guest safety, but decisions should be based on consistent standards and proper ID verification, not where guests are visiting from. My wife and some family came from Texas on vacation, went with high hopes of this place and having a good time.we were at the bar waiting for the for the longest for a drink and we were completely ignored for our race, not a look not a glance, not a give us a second nothing.we are good tippers and respectful people, and this is unacceptable.

We had a very disappointing experience. We felt treated differently because we are Mexican. The staff were dismissive and made us feel unwelcome. We did not receive the same level of service we expected. We left feeling discriminated against and disrespected. We hope this business takes concerns like this seriously and works to ensure every customer is treated with fairness and respect, regardless of ethnicity or background.”
