Excellent experience. Rob was knowledgeable and insightful, tailoring the class to my needs. He covered a lot in the time we had and I left feeling like I learned a lot more than I did when I arrived. I’m a seasoned hiker. Rob reviewed the basics and helped with advanced survival tips and tricks that I wasn’t aware of. Glad I took the class and appreciate the prep that went into curating the class. Well thought out and would recommend to beginners and advanced outdoorsmen alike.
Took the 101 class. Great class even if you know a few things. you can learn a few new tricks. Got to make tent stakes and make deadfall shelters. And make a fire in wet conditions. Will be going back again for the 102 class. This is a great class to build out you survival skill foundations.
I can't say enough nice things about Rob. He was super flexible with me having to reschedule several times. We were also an hour late to class and he not only made us feel super welcome, he took the time to catch us up and answer my multitude of questions. I truly didn't think we'd feel welcome in this type of setting, but Rob is INCREDIBLY kind and super inclusive. I recommend this to everyone!
My husband and I attended the Wilderness Survival class and would very much recommend it! Rob did an amazing job teaching us the core principals of survival in spite of the pouring rain. We all even managed to get our fires started!
Took the survival course class an it really helped me think about certain needs when we are out in Nature. These classes are essential for anyone who likes the woods, Rob is very thorough with his experience an explanations about a lot of things, we had a great day learning fire starting water filtration building a shelter an much more.very informative an fun .Highly recommended
