I bought a commercial awning for our business and Coyes gave us the best quote so we moved forward with them. I purchased an awning for over my sliding door onto my backyard deck last spring. They were very helpful in determining the size and color I wanted. I loved the new look. They neglected to tell me that there would be a danger of the awning collapsing should we get a heavy snow (we live in Michigan so this is quite likely). Our very first winter, the awning pulled away from the house and ripped the shingles along with it. None of the bolts were anchored into anything other than the shingles.
