They came out to fix a broken line. Took my modem and gave me an upgraded one, told me "if you get a message about returning equipment you can ignore it". When he left that day my internet wasn't even working, I had to chase him out to the highway so I didn't have to wait two more days for another appointment. In two months since it's been down 4-5 times, subsequent visits inconclusive. Good cable based ISP. Friendly staff, every service I used was as advertised. That being said, I did switch to fiber, once available, as they offer symmetrical connections. No real complaints about Cox, just a preference.
Excellent service and no wait.
I called the new customer hotline and spoke with a lady who had a very thick Asian accent. I kept repeating that I couldn't understand her and then she hung up. And wouldn't pick up my calls ever after that. Then I called the contact for my apartment complex, and she gave me a 70$ option or an 80$ option. I refused and said the price is not worth it, and only then did she offer me a 60$ option. I will avoid Cox cable indefinitely now. 🚮
