Cox is way overpriced service and their staff is friendly until you tell them you're cancelling service.
The WORST internet service ever. I needed internet and this was one of two options for my area, if I could spend more money I would 100% have gone with the other company. Cox automatically enrolled me in an income based help plan I don’t even qualify for. And when setting an account up there is no option other than to opt into it. And if you want to opt out after that you have to call customer service. I was disconnected twice, and the next day was on hold for 15 mins. Our internet goes out almost everyday. I get the same thing from them. Apologies but no action. Then it happens again the next day. Also no offer of a refund or credit. They are terrible.
HORRIBLE. I just called cox today, our wifi has been out for 48 hours no outage no damage to the box. Weve done all the trouble shooting steps per the app. The immature girl who picked up the phone picked it up laughing, which is very unprofessional. Then after asking why I have to pay more for a technician to come out than I pay monthly, she held the phone away from her ear and tried talking.
