Not happy about coming here but they saved my mom
I initially went into Cox with intense abdominal pain and severe vomiting and while they took my blood and did a urine test they did not discuss the results with me. They told me as I was signing ama after waiting ~5 hours that they would be available in my patient portal however they did not provide me with access to create an account and view my patient portal. When we were leaving they had told me they ordered a CT scan however they did not tell me that prior to leaving. Furthermore they did not take my IV out when I left... read more
Worst experience ever in an emergency room. We were there for 7 hours. Went in saying sore throat and they did not test for strep but did test for Covid. 5 hours later they asked if they could test for Strep since her throat was hurting, well that should have been done first (does not take a doctor to figure that out) then when I said she was in pain Dr. Michael White said to me she must not be in too much pain since she was asleep when I walked in.
