Update: Going to upgrade rating because each and every ER nurse and the doctor were amazing. Provided clear, quick treatment and even explained the wait issue. I still think something could be done to improve process but need to recognize great staff. Only giving Cox ER two stars because most of the staff we've dealt with were extremely ( Amy, Sean, etc) helpful and pleasant. However when you're sent here by your own physician for treatment and wait 5 hours (CURRENT with more waiting to go per rude, male, evening clerk) this... read more
This hospital sucks!!!! Waiting in ER waiting room for 7hrs and still haven’t been seen. Ridiculous
Chris from the check-in desk is a jewel! It was so busy last night, it took about 11 hours for us to get my father-in-law into a room in the ER-that’s how busy it was. He was so kind to everyone that walked in the door. He was sympathetic to their needs. He even went as far as to help cover the patients with blankets. He deserves a raise! . The nurses and techs were kind also and would come out every so often to check vitals, etc. I am thankful for our little hospital.
