Formerly known as the Myriad Convention Center, Cox Convention Center is a premier event venue inOklahoma City. Aside from being the home rink of the Blazers hockey team and the home arena of the Wranglers arena football team, this newly renovated center is the place to see great concerts, basketball tournaments, and conventions. Plus there are brand-new banquet rooms for smaller meetings and events. The location, right in the heart of downtown and a short walk to Bricktown is perfect.

First time since it was "The Myriad." Nice facility and staff.
Attended the OCHEC convention 5th. Per the Cox Convention Center regulations we brought no food with us. However Cox failed to provide food vendors. Families, many with small children had to walk several blocks to find food, making a tight workshop schedule even more difficult to manage. If Cox is going to maintain a policy of no outside food or beverages, they need to provide adequate concessions for their patrons .
It's big. The facility is very nice and even though the seats are close they are comfortable. Don't be in a hurry when leaving the parking garage. Arrive early.
Was Attending The State FFA Convention As A Parent Now Of A State Farm Degree Recieptant~ Many Years Ago The Steps Here Being So Steep Were Nothing To Slow Me Down,Now However It's A Differnt Story & I'm Glad My Mother Didn't Attend Cause I Woulda Been Worrying About Her Falling~Along With My Tears That Were Falling Cause My BABY Is No Longer A Baby..!! And One Of The Restrooms Had A ((Unusually)) Bad Odor.
We had an amazing and awesome time ! All the FFA Students were absolutely impeccable and looked so good in their FFA Uniforms ! I was totally impressed by their speeches and actions! The Talent Competitors were all excellent and all of them deserved recognition! We loved it! ��
The technology needs to be badly updated; could be more user friendly....ur SOL unless you knew someone who knows their way around.
For an event this size and the fact we were there by 6:00, very disappointing that we were unable to grab a snack or even a bottle of water or a coke. We were there 3 1/2 hours and nothing to drink or snack. My daughter tried to find a coke machine or snack machine and couldn't find anything. Is that typical of large events? Do the vendors close that early?.
It was okay. Once I got , I was able to get in and out.
The event was great! Near the end, they lock the bathrooms nearest the exits. No wonder the stairway into the parking area smells like piss.
