I had an excellent experience with the Coweta County Genealogical Society. From the moment I stepped into the building, I felt genuinely welcomed and supported. Everyone—from Tom to Cheerful, Faye, and Mary—was incredibly knowledgeable and eager to help. They shared valuable insight into historical records and took the time to educate me on documents dating back to the 1800s. I love this library and the folks there. It is a warm and cozy nest from which you can research to your heart’s desire! There is a plethora of resources. Please be sure to check it out. You won’t regret it…it’s my happy place!
I called today to get info on the property i purchsed in Grantville and to my aurprise such unprofessional answers if you ask me. What do they mean you have no idea what i am talking about? So who else do i ask? She said i have no idea. Really?? This is just bad. Its no wonder the preservation of our historical past has gone missing.
