Can’t figure out if this place is even in business anymore. I went here for a long time and found a great stylist that I followed for years afterward when she went independent. Most recently I came back after my old stylist retired. I had a great experience with Madison and wanted to rebook this week but the website won’t let me book a time slot and nobody answers when I call… unfortunately I won’t be coming back
My first Cowboy Up haircut a few weeks ago I had Stephanie. She was great. I had a great haircut, fun conversation and a good whiskey. I have found my new, regular go-to place! UPDATE: A year after my initial review, Cowboy Up has seriously gone downhill. I've been through 4 stylists because they keep leaving. Not sure why I stayed so long, but have realized the management there treats stylists poorly and therefore they all leave. It’s New Years Eve, and I have a confirmed appointment at 6PM at the Southlake Cowboy Up. I arrived to signs on the door saying temporarily closed. No Cancellations by them of my appointment. No courtesy call so that I might schedule a haircut somewhere else. Just complete disregard to loyal/registered customers with confirmed appointments. I even double checked the appointment on their website when I got home. I am still there and still confirmed in their system for this appointment. Excellent overall experience! Nohemi is my girl and I’ve been going for months. Worth the membership for sure.
Alexis is the finest barber I've found in years. I followed her to the Gents Place from another shop and if she ever moves, I'll follow her again. But I'm glad she's come to this location. It is a fine establishment, they treat me like I'm a valued customer. They make appointments easy and changing them simple. They have a responsive concierge service that responds back quickly.
