okay...here goes. I've been doing a restoration on a '68 Chevrolet Corvair (air-cooled wonder!) for a little over five years. Some of it myself and some farmed out. I'm a "tinkerer" not a trained mechanic. Many things have to be improvised like replacing the mechanical fuel pump with an electric one as mechanical ones are no longer reliable. Jeff Cowan is a very good and very honest mechanic. Instead of talking you into more work he will only do what the car needs and explain everything.
I had a doozy of an electrical problem on my Duramax and Mr. Jeff made easy work of it. He is very knowledgeable and does quality work at a fair price. Would definitely recommend.
