Going on my sixth year with these folks, my longest stay in any apartment community. They completely redid the units a few years ago, and barely raised the rent! I like the n ew gym they put in, and the big swimming pool and baby pool during the summer, baby pool for my new grandaughter. Only have had to call in one service call, my air conditioning was blowing out hot air one day, and they cam e out right away to fix. Lots of dogs in the dog park too.
Uh, I would say this is an inaccurate result. They took my $40.00 application fee while I gave them full disclosure of my situation, and they denied me, without calling me back I had to contact them.....I would not list them as second chance.....
Do not lease here. I promise you you will regret it. The owner is unbelievably rude and cares only about the money going into his pocket. The maintenance staff is decent and very kind, but they can only do so much when the place is falling apart. There's been issues with the basements flooding where the laundry and storage for residents. Many of my personal items have been ruined and when you let them know they couldn't care less. Well after reading all these reviews and hearing the good and the bad I visited Covington Place in September 2013 and met with Keyounia and she showed us two units and we chose the one on the main floor. We moved within a few weeks and loved the location and our new apartment, as with any new place we started to find something’s that needed to be fixed and the maintenance staff while not the quickest did a good job and took care of all the issues. Staff as rude as they come. Nothing gets fixed....there are stray cats EVERYWHERE they use the bathroom wherever they please and spread fleas. When asked to take care of the issue the manager said there was nothing they can do. They advertise a dog park which consists on a small.piece of grass with a trashcan. Workmanship is shoddy at best...rent is high but maintanence is low....DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY ON THIS PLACE
This place is a joke. Their staff consists of the most disrespectful money grubbing liars you can possibly imagine. If you're down to be a victim of robbery and vandalism, this is the place for you. Or if you like to be treated like you are nothing in this world and enjoy having people blame their stupidity, false statements and mistakes on you. Otherwise, you should probably just follow "julsstooges" advise.
The complex motto is " where moving in, is moving up" " upscale living". This is the biggest load of _____! This complex is a nightmare!!! The office staff are useless. The apts. & townhouses are falling apart. We have multiple work tickets out. Nothing has been fixed. They never can find your work tickets, even if you just placed a request the following day.
