Terrible night l wasn't able to park in visitor parking. There's no other place to park, except the club house. I was on the phone soon to get out my car when the security guard pulls up blinding me with his headlights is staring at me for over 5 minutes. Then proceeded to back up with head lights still on me and watched me until I went inside the apartment. He's creepy and a pervert.
What do the HOA fees pay for....are they getting pocketed? Grounds are deplorable, no sprinkler system, not sure how landscaping does their job with all the branches on the "grass", people drive at high rates of speed on the boulevard and cross streets - get speed bumps, its very dangerous walking the area. Alcohol bottles, cans and cigarette butts are all over the grounds. Where does the money go!? Someone needs to be held accountable.
I like it here (12 years)! It is very pretty, with the trees and golf course. Management is responsive to concerns. There are activities in the clubhouse, a beautiful pool, and exercise equipment. Like most things in life, it's not perfect, but it's affordable and centrally located . . . . Manalapan is a beautiful area.
I moved to Covered Bridge in 2017, relocating from Brooklyn. The neighborhood is absolutely wonderful, it's safe and has wonderful areas to walk. Coming from Brooklyn where my maintenance was $750 a month, it's not even that per quarter so I'm quite happy there. I think the office is good, I called about my outside light being out last week, they were here within an hour. I highly recommend this place, you get a decent bang for your buck and it's safe.
