We have a broken rope on a three-year-old cover. $500 to repair. Biggest disappointment is the cover installation hasn’t been good from the beginning. It always catches on that side. We have to have somebody lift up on the cover while somebody else runs the buttons. We did have Cover Care back out to look at this during the early months. I worked with this company through my pool builder for a cover installation. Unfortunately, the quality and follow-up have been disappointing. They used non-water-resistant screws, which began rusting within a year, and even duct-taped a spacer in place—clearly not a long-term solution. When I brought these issues to their attention, they refused to take responsibility unless I paid for labor. They’re not cheap but Jared the tech was very friendly, good communication, worked efficiently, and got my problem fixed.
