Despite all the negative reviews, I personally love Dr. Makinde and her staff. I been seeing Dr. Makinde since 2022 and she delivered my babies. She was very attentive and made sure I had all my lab work done at a timely manner and gave me correct medication as needed. An example to show that she went above and beyond was that she called me during the winter storm through her personal cell to check up on me because my appointment was coming up and she didn't know if the weather would clear up. Disappointed is an understatement for this doctors office. Very neglectful and incapable of caring for the patients they take on. I advise any woman to look past this practice and save yourself a lot of time because you don’t receive the proper care you need. Sad thing is they ignore phone calls and emails but I’m sure they’ll try to reach out to rectify the bad review but can’t reach out to a struggling patient
The level of incompetence in this office is insane. The girl at the front desk, although probably very overworked, is rude. She was doing the checking in and the vitals. It was another lady sitting at a computer doing nothing. You can hear the doctor outside the room having causal conversation while patients are waiting 2+ hours to be seen. They never answer the phone and they give you check in instructions that are not accurate and try to tell you that you can't be seen and need to be rescheduled due to their incompetence. ... read more
I went here and I was not heard at all. Everything I said, I was being interrupted and cut off. I waited two hours before I was seen. I then was being pushed to get birth control which I told her it didn't work for what I needed. This will only mask the problem. I had no exam done because I was bleeding (I've never had a doctor refuse to do an exam because I was bleeding). I left this office with tears in my eyes.
