Communication issues, as staff nurses and Doctors are not taking the time to read the reports, poor communication between staff, can easily get lost between Social workers, pharmacy, Doctors and nurses. Employees shared they are tired and under staffed.
My aunt, aged 89, was recently hospitalized. She spent the night in the emergency room before being transferred to a regular room. However, upon discharge, (keep in mind we live 45 minutes away) the hospital informed her that she had 30 minutes to vacate her room or wait in the lobby for transportation. Given her fragile condition, I find the expectation that an elderly patient like her should wait in the lobby to be unreasonable.
My husband admitted to this hospital. Im very thankful to Dr. Shakespear, Haily and medical staffs whose taking care of my husband because of them my husband still alive. They are very caring, patience, helpful and very concerns to the patient. Hospital is clean and very accomodating. Highly recommended Dr Shakespeare for pulmonologist.
Sad how my husband to change out my incision right in the lobby of the er due to the er staff only wanting to do vitals. Like my colonoscopy bag is leaking and it's burning and they give me a pad like in a dog. I thought coming here would be helpful y'all are just as bad as UMC. No help whatsoever
