I really wanted this to be a good place! I live in the area; and have been dining at this location for decades; through a few ownerships. I've been here 4 times; under the current ownership. On my first experience, the waitress was great and the food was good. The last 3 times I've been the food was awful, and the staff was inattentive. I wont be going back. The atmosphere is not the problem with this restaurant! People expect the nostalgic Cove experience. Bad food and bad service drove your customers away!
This was Thanksgiving dinner delivered to me. The margarita was excellent. The turkey, dressing, butternut squash and cranberry sauce were delicious. The mash potatoes were dry and needed more gravy. The dinner roll is not worth mentioning. The apple pie got a little scrambled but it looks good.
Another thanksgiving. Another year of botched plans. Cove has come through again with delivery. Hot and delicious. I’m sorry to everyone that has to work today. If it’s any consolation at all, i appreciate you and thank you for feeding my daughter and i.
Now the kids pasta (with butter) is excellent 👌 and even though they dont mainly focus on pasta and their main thing is seafood its still good so if you have a kid recommend it to them. (Kid forced me to say it) And, if you sit outside, and it's the summer, there will be a relaxing sea breeze to cool you down. Plus I'm pretty sure I tried the clam cakes last time I went and I think they were good. I would recommend them as an appetizer. Also everyone at my table said they enjoyed it as well.
