3 weeks ago, my generator turned on, and it transferred over to generator power. I never lost city power. The power company came and tested to make sure it wasn't on their side. I called Cove to come out and figure out what is going on. I was transferred to another company called Pioneer, and was told it would be 2 weeks before anyone would be able to get out. Cove did the initial install of our Generac Generator and I give 5 stars to the team who did the install in 2023. They were really good, efficient and polite. Recently I realized I am past due for maintenance. They are suppose to be monitoring our unit, but obviously failed. I called to schedule and the yearly maintenance fee went from $190 to $489. LOL You are out of your mind! Went with a local business who is highly rated and the person answering the phone was pleasant. BYE!
SEE UPDATE BELOW, Had Cove generators, install whole home Generac generator. Brian and his crew were fantastic, they arrived on time did a super clean install, and I'm picky (an old retired contractor) Thank you guys, will definitely recommended family and friends. We had a generac generator installed by Cove in 2023 costing $11,3000.We were told that the yearly service charge would cost approximately $135 . Last year's was free with our contract ,we call to schedule a maintenance yearly service this year 2025 and the lady couldn't find us on file . We even asked if we had the right number. She said that they went through a reorganizing process and because we live far away (20 miles) from cookeville that the service charge was gonna cost $419 .!!!!! .Now I know inflation happened but t... read more
This company was bought out by pioneer to get the client list ,worked for cove for 10 months went in on a Friday was told company got sold management rode with us on a truck for 3 days to learn about Generators, continued working until the changes came cut pay no paid drive time which on most days at least 3 hours driving, most the jobs we showed up to install was not ready spend 2 hours on a phone telling us to figure it out put unit in even if we couldn't hook it up and to not leave until we got a check from the customer ,... read more
