Unfortunately, I inherited the nightmare of working with Covalt Structural and Foundation Repair when I purchased my home in 2020. The sellers were aware of foundation issues and, as a condition of the sale, chose this company to make the repairs. I had no say in the decision, and it’s clear they went with Covalt simply because they were the cheapest option. In this case, cheap absolutely equaled poor-quality work. The address is a front no one ever there. The company came out to level. I paid on good faith and house was 6 inches unleveled. Edward said to float with concrete. I said no. He then went on to say the house foundation was poured like that. I called Engineer to meet me there at job site. I did meet him there and Edward showed also. Edward said that is all the house can go up. He said he can not go up anymore or he will break the framing.
