Walking in Old Towne and hungry but not starving we stumbled upon Cousteau's Waffle & Milkshake Bar and decided to give it a try. The fare did NOT disappoint! I had a Whirlybird and my hubby grazed on a Kingsley. The waffles were hot and delicious with generous portions of the toppings from the menu. There's a quiet little sitting area that you can relax from walking Governor's Street and partake in the waffles and milkshakes (which we will try on our next trip).
The Whirleybird and the papa Steve changed my life! Clean and friendly- and delicious!
Lots of different, unique milkshake options! Ping Island is my personal favorite, but I've still got plenty more to try. Waffles are good as well. Some chairs inside and a little spot outside, too. The staff has been very friendly every time we've gone.
I've visited this place many times before, but this time felt truly special, all thanks to Jordan. He has such a kind heart! He went out of his way to help me and made my food look absolutely stunning. When I finally tasted it, I was completely amazed! It was incredibly fluffy, light, and just perfect in every way. It's incredible how this one waffle could brighten my day so much. I'm really grateful! 🙌🏼
This place is always consistently delicious and a must every time we come to St Augustine!!
