Unfortunate time in my life, my grandma stayed here until her passing at Arcadia Nursing home in Kewanee, IL at the age of 92. I'm her 2 oldest grandson at age 60. This photo was taken December 26th, 2025. I did a surprise show up with family, knowing that I had to do this, my last living grandparent. My older brother, his wife and I seen her one last time at Arcadia Nursing home , about a week later she passed. I visit Courtyard Village of Kewanee often. It’s very pretty and the residents there all seem to be enjoying life with coffee groups, movies, Bridge club, and just shooting the breeze with each other. The staff there are super friendly but unobtrusive; always available but without a clinical feeling that so many places have. I wouldn’t hesitate a second to recommend a loved one to move in there.
