I had to change my hotel for work. My company travel associates call them and they agree to cancel reservations for free. But I saw my credit card was charged. They are not sending me the bill, they are not removing the charges. I am do not expect this from Marriot especially for high status customer.

The good = breakfast food, comfortable bed, location to event center. Quincy & Harley who did what they could to help. The bad = Called and transferred to front desk to confirm reservation since wasn’t in my app but I had a C#. Abruptly placed on hold (simply say “I am with a guest can I place you on hold a few mins?) Called back 7 mins later thinking something must have happened was very rudely told “I am with a guest you just have to wait” which I did for 6 more mins then gave up. Called corporate. $280-300 for a night in Pueblo Colorado should be a robbery. They didn’t stop there but they also wants to charge you $14 for “breakfast buffet” and $7 dollars for a machine made cofre that’s more water than real coffee. I have no idea which GM is running this hotel but I would definitely stay away. People were nice and that’s the 1 star for.. the property needs full revamps and investment. $300 dollars for a night. Incredibly.

Our initial entry into the room was a pungent smell of smoke and the in bathroom area it smelled like poop. My wife immediately contacted the front desk and she said that someone would come up. Noone has shown up or inquired about our complaints and this is day 3. The is also an electrical Outlet cover opened and the wiring is exposed. There is also a box fan in the room which is something I have never seen, not even in motels or anything. I called the front desk and had a very rude interaction with the front desk attendant. I called initially at 2:45ish my time, and was placed on hold for 15 minutes. I then hung up and called back, to which she became irritated and complained of 56 guests she was trying to check in.
