I had a terrifying experience at a recent stay at the Courtyard By Marriott Portland Hillsboro in the wee hours of the morning on September 15, 2026. I was fast asleep at 1:30 am when another person forcibly attempted to get into my room. They had a key to the room. I screamed at the top of my lungs and the person stopped, and left. Thankfully, I had my security latch closed and he was not able to get in. Wifi is terrible. Good luck getting connected. I had to go down the street to Starbucks due to not being able to connect and the staff not caring the least.
Overall a very clean, modern, comfortable facility at a good price. Close to many conveniences. They do charge $12 for parking. So factor that into your total room price. Only gripe, a minor one, they leave the tv's on in every room to play their company TV content. It was on in the room next to me and was a bit loud at times. But would definitely stay here again If in the area.
