Extremely disappointing experience! My wife and I stayed for one night at the Courtyard by Marriott Manhattan Midtown to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. We had booked a king-size bed room in advance. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Michael, a friendly gentleman with a warm smile who checked us in and mentioned that we had received an upgrade. Loved the service, (thank you Rayaz) loved the view, loved the room but not the price. Ouch. We had a very nice corner suite, spacious, with decent amenities. The bed was comfortable. The views phenomenal!

I have complained twice now to housekeeping and the front desk. My leg is bruised with a knot on my shin from slipping in the tub 3x now. Clean the tub properly or put a tub mat in there. If your shower bar hadn't been bolted to the wall, my fall would have been way worse. The bathroom is extremely dark, your "lamp" plugs do mot work. Having to use only one elevator because we are on floor 17 is really freaking annoying. The location is great but the rooms are dated. Spend $50 more & stay somewhere that won't try to kill you... read more
