After reserving a room at the nearby Hampton Inn, I was notified at the last minute that their pool was closed for renovations. Fortunately, when I called the Courtyard in Hickory, they were more than happy to accommodate my last minute booking! PROS: - The room was so luxurious and comfortable! - Forgot to bring a charging cable for your phone? No problem! The alarm clock/telephone has USB-C, lightning, and micro-USB cables built-in! Room was good condition. Front desk was quick. Only issue was a fire alarm wake up. Don't know if was a test, false alarm but it stopped after a minute.
The check in and check out staff were friendly. The hotel was in a great location, located right next to the convention center where our conference was being held. Also conveniently located near the on off exit with several restaurants in the area. The room was nice, clean, the bed was extremely comfortable with nice bedding. I enjoyed having the Hallmark channel as an option! I felt very comfortable in this room. I would recommend and I would stay again when in this area.
