This hotel had issues. The room had electrical problems, the lights and outlets on half of the room didn't work on our first night, although it was fixed the next afternoon. The staff was very nice, but I had trouble getting the front desk to grasp the issue. Also, the front desk staff didn't seem to know anything about the local area. We stayed here for one night after spending the day at Kings Island. The hotel is only about a 10-minute drive from the park. The hotel was very nice and clean upon walking in, and the girls at the front desk who helped me with check-in and check-out were very polite. Our room was also very clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable. I normally have a hard time sleeping in hotels, but I actually slept really well here! I really wanted to like this hotel, but unfortunately I left pretty disappointed. I’m a Marriott Bonvoy member and have stayed at Marriott properties many times, so this experience was particularly disappointing compared with what I’ve come to expect from the brand. I had specifically been told that breakfast would be available for purchase during my stay. I was perfectly happy to pay for it, so this isn’t a complaint about breakfast not being complimentary.
