The hotel seems to be struggling to communicate or work with the housekeeping department to upkeep normal hygiene. The first night I was here, I stumbled upon a moldy bathtub & moldy shower curtain. It was replaced upon request. I was annoyed go have this friction. And I was also surprised to see this at a Marriott hotel—I wouldn’t even expect this at a $70/night hotel. This property will not work with you. I accidentally booked the wrong dates for my trip. It was actually before my arrival. I called within 12 minutes of booking and explained the situation & was told that the policy stands, no refunds. I was not looking for a refund, I was looking for the credit for the existing reservation to go towards my new reservation. Stayed here for a few days, service exceeded expectations (daily cleanings), whole hotel is very new! Location could have been closer to old downtown, but fairly close to the shoreline park for a nice walk or run. 5 stars because it met or exceeded expectations, nothing crazy fancy but would stay again.
