I have stayed here before with no issues. However, I will not be staying here again after today. I have racked up 650 nights over the years at Marriott Properties, I am lifetime platinum, and I have the Bonvoy Brilliant credit card. I work in a field that has last minute changes, delays, and uncertainty every week. Until today, I have never had reason to be concerned that a Marriott Property would refuse to cancel my stay free of charge 36 hours ahead of my stay. Booking.com says this property allows 18+ check in. When trying to check in as a 19 year old I was denied at the door in a very rude manor. No help finding a new property and no remorse for the mistake.
Tisha was very courteous and made me feel at right at home during my stay. She promptly helped me check-in early and was flexible on my check out time. I was able to get a little extra rest Friday and perform my best on Saturday. This is the best Courtyard I've ever stayed at. Thank you for a wonderful experience, I hope to stay at Courtyard Bettendorf again next summer.
