I am all for supporting small businesses and such, but this has been such a bad experience. The atmosphere was dark and dingy. There were flies all around, a weed eater inside by the bar, and junk everywhere. It smelled musty and there was mold on one of the menus. The worst part was probably the price of food and lack of food. I know seafood isn't cheap, but I think it is crazy to spend $4 on 4 Itty bitty hushpuppies or like $11 for seafood soup that looked and tasted like it was from a can. We just took my mother-in-law here for her birthday. Everything was perfect. Food was super fresh and local. We will definitely be eating here again soon. I can’t wait to go back.
You will not find better home cooking in a seafood restaurant. The bread used for sandwich rolls or dinner rolls is homemade and light not dense or dough. The tomatoes and lettuce used on sandwiches or salads are fresh, ripe. The fruit desserts were made with local farm fresh ingredients. There is always a fresh caught selection for the seafood. Loved this place. Small town vibes, amazing food, sweet employees! Stoked to go bag, the crab cake sandwhich was melt in your mouth and the garlic butter oysters were to die for. Go visit!
