I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Brooks. From the moment I walked in, I felt listened to and cared for. I had a hysterectomy and she took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions without rushing, and showed genuine compassion throughout the entire process. With every visit the office staff was professional and friendly as well, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. I don't recommend Dr. Brooks. For years, she dismissed my IUD concerns, only for an ultrasound to reveal it was hanging low due to improper insertion. Despite ongoing issues and a feeling that something is still off, she only suggests removing it, even after another ultrasound she performed herself. Plus, there are discrepancies between our discussions and my medical notes. Knew her from Baptist. She would have given Rhogam had it not been for the nurse correction. After C-section she refused to give any extra pain meds due the unhealing wound pain. She yelled and made a fuss and said I would be a drug addict if I asks for more meds. The matter of the fact was that was the first and last time I had had ever taken narcotics! Not a compassionate person though there is an external mirage of sweetness the very first time you meet her with extensive questioning of one’s personal life, love life… etc... read more
