Not the same place it used to be. They say flounder but it is whitefish. BBQ has very woody/smoked flavor. Food on the buffet is never hot. Waitresses don't wash their hands often, especially after handling money. Won't go back.
What happened to Courtney's BBQ? – My husband & I used to go to Courtney's at least 3 to 4 times a month. After the last two awful visits, I would only go back if it was the only place left open. The BBQ now has an overly-smoked, almost burnt, chemical taste to it and the hushpuppies are little overly fried squiggles of greasy yuck. Hit Or Miss – I've had great BBQ, and great fish from here, I've also had some mediocre BBQ from here, It seems to depend on who is in charge...and who you are connected to. They are huge proponents of the Clover School District, hiring mostly people who are associated with the school district.
