Office affiliation has changed to Wills Eye. Not for the good. Overbooked. Been waiting an hour and there are at least 8 people a head of me. Not happy. Was never like this before. May be time for a change. What makes doctors think your time isn’t as valuable as theirs.
DR. Schmidt is a wonderful and a professional doctor...He treated and took care of all my needs.... the office staff are wonderful...friendly and professional
We have been there several times Dr. SCHMIDT is fantastic. Today MEC had a 11:15 appointment. We were informed now they have a different owner and new paperwork would need to be completed. A team member took MEC back for a test and then back to the waiting room. This is common for MEC could have different test,drops and scans done prior to seeing Dr. SCHMIDT. Both receptionist are incredibly RUDE at this office!! They would not give me an appointment even though my ophthalmologist recommended I go in immediately for an examination due to the appearance of floaters. The ophthalmologist recommended for further examination with this doctor and my medical doctor also told me I see and eye specialist immediately. However, they want me to go back to the ophthalmologist who wasn’t able to further diagnosis the problem previously to give me a diagnosis to go there. And my medial doctor h... read more
Have been seeing Dr. Schmidt for about 28 years. He is the best and most qualified glaucoma specialist/surgeon and we are lucky to have him on the east coast. I was sent to him by another glaucoma surgeon who said there was no other specialist better than Dr. Schmidt. He is very patient and does not rush his appointments; so you may have to wait a little longer in his office at times, but isn't having the best worth waiting a little for? My eyesight is sure worth it!!
