Courtland build crap homes ! I repeate do not buy a Courtland home ! We are having. Structural issues , roof issues and drywall cracking like crazy! They refuse to fix anything saying the crack on the walls are wear and tear ! I don’t run on the walls of my house !
Before you buy a home from them, make sure to get a Trusted Inspector!!! Don't use their people since they will just say everything is "ok". Use your Warranty to get all your repairs done for free, since builder Hates to do.
Courtland completely ruined my first initial attempt to buy a home. Signed for the home over a year ago under the assumption of a VA loan. Wasn’t until 6 months later that I got denied by the VA for not having enough length of service. After I was denied, Courtland had me try for an approval with their lender which I was denied as well. Aftethird attempt with an outside lender I now cannot qualify for the loan due to my income decreasing over Time (I work in sales and on 100% commission).
