These apartments are HUD owned. But, the apartments are renovated and spacious. There is a playground and it's relatively quiet outside with only the noise from kids which is expected and keeps you happy hearing happy kids. Despite what these apartments may have been in the past. It is not ghetto or hood or negative now. The employees in the office said that they have cleaned up the people that they put into these apartments and I'm sure that they have based on my experience of being here.
