They seem to treat Karen well,but the State of Ohio seems to cause problems.They don't seem to realize that the kids like comics or things that are entertaining for kids.I saw some of the things the State recommended & they were boring for me(so what makes them think that the clients would like this trash?).Karen enjoys the Bingo,but would also like someone to play "Go Fish" with or "Yahtzee".I know some of the others could play those games too. I love my job, coworkers and the Individuals I take care of. This has been the most rewarding job.
Great place to work! Love the back office staff. They are easy to work for and are understanding people. Obviously the staff you work with directly on the floor will change often. This isn't the job for everyone. You will get your hands dirty. It's well worth it tho! The residents are amazing individuals! Makes you love coming to work, even on bad days. They just cheer you right up! I loved it so much I worked here twice!
Our son had lived there for almost 5 years up till his death Its a great place very caring staff every one makes you feel like a family
