Really saddened by the lack of empathy with the staff. I was driving by today and saw a lady that had fallen in one of their streets. So I pulled around and helped her get up and into her place. I went into the Grand to let them know in case they needed to check on her and I was told to tell someone else. Not to mention this was a group of probably 6 employees. Definitely won't let anyone in my family be under their care.
Very unprofessional, very rude, very dirty! My dad actually got hurt, they don't communicate, and the nurses were gossiping.
My dad is in the memory care unit at John Ganton's Countryside Retirement Community. (I see there's more than 1 Ganton so not to be confused with Lloyd Ganton's). I have been very impressed with my dad's care. The place is clean. My dad always looks clean. The food seems good. The staff seem to really care. Thank you to all who help care for my dad!
I've worked there as a housekeeper and before this I was a resident aide for two years I specialized in the memorie care unit anyways call lights would go off for hours and I would watch the resident aides even the nurses neglect all residents they would all sit on there phones laughing and gossip about childish things when I was working a mid shift I literally yelled for help because there was a resident about to fall out of his chair and a resident aide was coming but talking on the phone laughing and I ran to catch him sh... read more
Wanted to thank Margaret N. at Countryside Grand. She took extra time to show me around and explain everything so thoroughly when I was looking for a place for my Dad. She really is willing to help and cares about the facility. Countryside Grand is lucky to have Margaret, she is wonderful and the facility is beautiful.
