If there is anything good about cancer it is Countryside Cancer Center. After chemo in Boston, we decided to have radiation in Florida to avoid the winter weather and we chose Countryside due to the quality of the physicians and other reviews. The entire staff is extremely caring and accommodating. Dr. Gauwitz is remarkable in his skills and manner. I’ve had a long road with Cancer treatment which began with Chemo on 6/1/17. On 1/3/18 I began my radiation treatments following my surgery for Breast Cancer. My Radiation Oncologist, Dr. Guawitz was honest, professional and caring. He put my worries to rest and his staff treated me with such compassion during my 8 weeks of treatment which flew by. Always on time, great group of people. Very friendly, but still professional. Just watch for Nurse Linda. She says she can sneak a Catheter in when your sleeping. (Jus kidd'n). I can't think of enough good things about this group.
I just "graduated" from my radiation treatment at Countryside Cancer Center! This doctors, nursers, technicians.....all great people; very caring and compassionate. While this is not the place that would be No. 1 on anybody's "places to visit", the people who work there are awesome. You also meet special people who are going through the same thing you are; a very special "kinship" is formed. Thanks again to the doctors and staff there for taking such good care of me during my time there!
