We Tent camp quite a bit, and this was not the "Ideal" place to pitch a Tent. The ground was very "Rocky" which made it very difficult to drive the Stakes into the Ground. The Campsites for tents are too small. It is very difficult to Set up a Slepping tent and a Kitchen Tent. They advertise a "Target Green" Golf Course, and we thought that it was a wonderful concept for a campground. But, since they do not keep the Grass Mowed Low, it makes it quite difficult to actually play some Golf. They also advertise a Fishing Pond. T... read more
We stayed at Countryside over spring break in 2006. This is a very nice campground. I was expecting much worse from some of the reviews that I had read...but we did not see anything wrong with it! (and we camp a lot, all over TN) The grounds were very nice, and Im sure in summer when all of the trees are in full bloom that its quite lovely. The staff was friendly. The campsites were not huge, but not tiny either. The bathrooms and showers were immaculate. Someone mentioned internet. I actually had to use the internet quite a... read more
